VJ Day Remembered
Grove Parish Council will host a short service on Friday 15 August 2025 starting at 6pm on Grove Recreation Ground to commemorate VJ Day.

Similar to VE Day in May, the Parish Council will host the Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshire, Brigadier Dr D Blease DL to commemorate and remember VJ Day.
Music from the Wantage Silver Band and the lighting of the ceremonial Beacon at 6.30pm, the event should take no longer than an hour.
